According to Lebanon’s Ministry of Public Health, Israeli air raids across various regions, including the capital and southern and eastern parts, resulted in at least 20 fatalities and 24 injuries on Wednesday.
Impact on Beirut and Surrounding Areas
In Beirut, at least six individuals were confirmed dead, and numerous others sustained injuries due to the airstrikes. Reports indicate significant damage in central Beirut, with a 15-storey building completely demolished. The Israeli military claims the building was used by Hezbollah for storing cash.
In southern Lebanon, Israel has initiated limited ground operations and issued evacuation notices for residents near the Zahrani River and Tyre, urging them to relocate northwards. NNA also reported strikes in Tyre and Al-Burj Al-Shamali.
