Smart Bricks has secured $5 million in a pre-seed funding round led by Andreessen Horowitz, aiming to create an AI infrastructure layer for global real estate investment.
Established in 2024, Smart Bricks focuses on integrating agentic AI with capital allocation. The company contends that real estate, despite being a major asset class, lacks an AI-native operating system. The funding round included participation from various funds and angel investors across the US, Europe, and the Middle East.
Smart Bricks is redesigning real estate discovery, underwriting, and transactions through autonomous reasoning systems. These systems aim to expedite the investment process from months to minutes, transforming real estate into a computable asset class.
The platform processes over one million data feeds to continually assess factors like supply, pricing, liquidity, regulation, and risk in global markets. It identifies the top 0.1% of properties by expected risk-adjusted return and automates up to 99% of the workflow, including valuation, underwriting, due diligence, negotiation, financing, and post-transaction support.

Designed for Retail and Institutional Capital
Smart Bricks focuses on infrastructure development rather than acting as a marketplace or broker. The platform targets retail and institutional operators across markets such as London, Dubai, New York, and major US cities, providing ranked investment opportunities, real-time intelligence, and execution workflows.
The company is backed by Andreessen Horowitz, Techstars, 500 Global, Cornerstone, South Loop Ventures, and Harvard Business School Alumni Angels, along with angel investors from OpenAI, Anthropic, DeepMind, Airbnb, and Blackstone. Smart Bricks is also associated with Google AI First, Microsoft GrowthX, and NVIDIA Inception programs.
