The Syrian army reported that on Sunday, the SDF launched multiple drone attacks in the Aleppo countryside. Conversely, the SDF accused the army of targeting a city with a Kurdish majority near the Turkish border on Monday.
The Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) stated that the SDF deployed more than 25 explosive drones against army positions in Aleppo, breaching the ceasefire agreement. The army reported that the SDF targeted Syrian deployment sites around Ain al-Arab, resulting in the destruction of four vehicles. The SDF also attacked the M4 highway, causing civilian injuries, and targeted residential areas in Sarrin town.
The Syrian army successfully intercepted several drones before they could impact residential areas east of Aleppo. According to SANA, SDF shelling in the al-Safa village resulted in one fatality and multiple injuries.

However, Kurdish authorities managing autonomous institutions have resisted integration with state entities, leading to a renewed Syrian military offensive following a missed merger deadline.
