Doctors Without Borders (MSF) reported that families, particularly infants, are facing severe cold as they reside in makeshift shelters throughout the affected area. The humanitarian group highlighted the challenges due to torrential rain and heavy winds in a social media statement, noting the ongoing blockade on vital supplies such as tents and temporary housing materials.

Israel's restrictions on humanitarian aid have led to severe shortages, contributing to a humanitarian crisis. Legal experts have pointed out that these actions violate international obligations, including a United States-brokered ceasefire agreement requiring Israel to permit 600 aid trucks into Gaza daily. Despite international criticism and appeals from the United Nations, these restrictions remain in place.

Furthermore, Israel revoked the operating licenses of 37 aid organizations, including MSF and the Norwegian Refugee Council, citing non-compliance with new regulatory requirements. MSF criticized the move, stating it hinders the provision of necessary services in Palestine.

The region continues to endure severe weather conditions, with strong winds and heavy rainfall further impacting displaced families residing in inadequate shelters. Recent military activity has resulted in additional casualties, with reports indicating at least 424 Palestinians killed since the ceasefire began on Oct 11, 2025, according to the Palestinian Health Ministry. Additionally, 1,199 individuals have sustained injuries in ongoing conflicts.
