Israeli forces have fatally shot a Palestinian man identified as Uday al-Maqadma near Gaza City. The incident occurred as Israeli operations continue in the occupied West Bank. Wafa, a Palestinian news service, reported that al-Maqadma was shot while seated near a school entrance in Gaza. He was transported to a hospital in critical condition and subsequently succumbed to his injuries.
Ceasefire Violations and Humanitarian Impact
Since the truce agreement began in October, ongoing Israeli actions have resulted in significant casualties and humanitarian challenges in Gaza. At least 411 Palestinians have been killed, and 1,112 injured, during this period. The Gaza Government Media Office reported that the average number of aid trucks entering the area daily is 244, significantly lower than the 600 trucks required by the truce agreement.
Despite the ceasefire, Israeli restrictions on humanitarian aid continue, impacting displaced Palestinians during severe winter storms. These restrictions have prevented access to essential goods and temporary housing.

Israeli military activities have intensified in the West Bank. Reports indicate that a Palestinian municipal worker was injured by settlers near Nablus, and several Palestinians, including a woman, children, and an elderly man, were detained during raids in Yatta and Beit Ummar near Hebron.
In northern Israel, a car-ramming incident involved a Palestinian man from the West Bank, resulting in two fatalities in Beit She’an. The event follows another incident where an Israeli settler was recorded running over a Palestinian man in the West Bank.
Separately, United Nations peacekeeping forces in Lebanon reported coming under fire from Israeli positions. UNIFIL noted that live ammunition and a grenade were fired "close" to a patrol in Bastara. The UN has condemned these actions as serious violations of Security Council resolution 1701 and urged Israeli military to cease aggressive behavior towards peacekeepers.
