The operations commenced early on Tue, with Israeli forces advancing into the nearby town of Kafr Aqab. A significant military presence was noted, involving house searches and the forcible eviction of residents.
The Palestine Red Crescent Society reported that its medical teams attended to three individuals injured during these operations. Injuries included a bullet wound, shrapnel wounds from live ammunition, and injuries from physical confrontations.
The Jerusalem governorate confirmed that three Palestinians sustained gunfire injuries, and numerous cases of suffocation occurred due to tear gas and stun grenades being deployed.
The operations also led to multiple detentions, including the arrest of Anan Mohammed Taha and his father, Mohammed Taha, from the Qalandiya refugee camp. Military vehicles and bulldozers were observed in the area.

Residents, many of whom hold Jerusalem residency identification cards, claim they are subject to high municipal taxes with limited access to basic services.
