Israeli forces have reportedly killed at least two Palestinians in the Gaza Strip amid ongoing ceasefire violations. According to reports, the incident occurred in the Shujayea neighborhood of eastern Gaza City.

The deaths contribute to a total of at least 12 Palestinians reportedly killed in Gaza over the past 24 hours, including individuals recovered from debris. This incident is part of numerous documented violations of a ceasefire brokered by the United States between Israel and Hamas, effective from October 10, 2023.

Gaza’s Government Media Office has condemned these violations, citing 875 breaches of the ceasefire agreement, which include air and artillery attacks, demolitions of civilian infrastructure, and multiple instances of shooting at civilians. Since the ceasefire's commencement, 411 Palestinians have reportedly been killed, with 1,112 others wounded.

The humanitarian situation in Gaza remains dire, with hundreds of thousands of displaced families facing inadequate access to essential supplies such as food, medicine, and shelter. Israel, as the occupying power, is obligated under international law to facilitate humanitarian aid; however, reports indicate significant restrictions on aid deliveries.

Recent winter storms have exacerbated the crisis, with rights groups indicating a lack of necessary supplies such as tents and blankets. The Gaza Government Media Office noted that only 17,819 trucks have entered the territory since the ceasefire, far below the agreed 600 trucks per day.
