Palestinian officials have expressed significant opposition to the decision, viewing it as an acceleration of Israel’s annexation activities. Mu’ayyad Sha’ban of the Palestinian Authority’s Colonisation and Wall Resistance Commission highlighted the implications for Palestinian territorial integrity.
