Demolition of Sanoubar Family Home in Nablus
On Tue, Dec 2, 2025, the Sanoubar family's apartment block in Nablus, occupied West Bank, was demolished by Israeli forces. The demolition followed the detention of Abdul Karim Sanoubar, a 30-year-old suspect accused of conspiring to carry out bus bombings.
Abdul Karim Sanoubar was arrested in July 2025 after evading capture for five months. He was accused of attempting to bomb buses near Tel Aviv in February 2025. The incident resulted in no casualties, as the explosives detonated while the buses were parked.
The demolition of the Sanoubar family home is part of "Operation Five Stones," a counterterrorism initiative launched by the Israeli army in late November 2025.
More than 30 individuals lived in the demolished building, which has been seized by the Israeli army, prohibiting the family from returning or rebuilding. The demolition notice was issued in April, providing the family 72 hours to file an objection, which was subsequently denied by Israeli courts.

The remains of the demolished home include visible personal effects, such as the words "We fight so we can live" on a wall.
