The remains are identified as those of an "occupation prisoner," suggesting they belong to an Israeli national. The Israeli Prime Minister's office confirmed the receipt of a coffin, which was handed over to the Red Cross by Hamas. The remains will undergo a formal identification process at Israel's Ministry of Health’s National Center for Forensic Medicine.
