Following his release, Abu Foul was transferred to Nasser Hospital, where he awaits further medical treatment. He currently resides in a tent and is seeking opportunities for medical care abroad.
Numerous reports highlight systematic abuse within Israeli prison facilities. The Palestinian Centre for Human Rights documented accounts from 100 former detainees held between October 2023 and 2024, indicating that torture occurs across various facilities. Many released detainees emerged with signs of physical abuse, and at least 100 bodies of deceased Palestinian detainees have been returned with evidence of abuse.
