On Mon, Oct 1, 2025, the Israeli Foreign Ministry announced the deportation of 171 activists from the Global Sumud Flotilla. These individuals were part of a group intercepted last week while attempting to deliver aid to Gaza. This brings the overall number of deported activists to 341.
The Greek Foreign Ministry confirmed the arrival of 161 expelled activists in Athens, comprising 27 Greek nationals and 134 individuals from 15 other countries. In a related development, Slovakia's Foreign Ministry stated that 10 deportees reached the country, including one Slovak national and others from the Netherlands, Canada, and the United States.
