Recent actions by Israeli forces in the Gaza Strip have resulted in at least 70 Palestinian casualties, as reported by medical sources. These actions continue despite calls for cessation, following partial acceptance of a peace plan.

Casualties include 45 individuals in Gaza City, an area severely affected by ongoing military operations. These operations have prompted significant displacement, affecting approximately one million residents who have moved to southern regions.

A strike on a residential area in the Tuffah neighborhood resulted in 18 fatalities and multiple injuries. The attack also caused damage to surrounding structures. Among those killed were seven children, as confirmed by Gaza's civil defense agency.

The al-Mawasi camp, designated as a humanitarian zone, experienced attacks leading to the deaths of two children and injuries to eight others. Despite being a designated safe area, it has been subjected to repeated strikes.

Ongoing air raids have strained medical facilities, which are facing operational challenges due to fuel shortages. The capacity to treat casualties is severely limited.

Envoys from the United States are set to engage with regional stakeholders in Egypt to discuss the technicalities of the peace proposal. Meetings will include representatives from Israel and Hamas to further the negotiation process.
