Hamas also indicated that ceasefire negotiations have been stalled since an Israeli airstrike targeted its leadership in Doha earlier in September .
Reports have emerged regarding a new ceasefire proposal by the United States aimed at ending the conflict in Gaza. The proposal consists of a 21-point plan that includes the handover of all Israeli hostages within 48 hours and the phased withdrawal of the Israeli army from Gaza, as per information from three Arab officials briefed on the matter.

Donald Trump discussed the plan with Arab and Islamic leaders in New York during the United Nations General Assembly last week . The US President is scheduled to meet with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the White House on Monday.
This meeting occurs at a significant juncture, with Israel facing growing isolation and President Trump showing signs of frustration following Israel’s attack in Qatar .
